Liberia is the 8th poorest country in the world with a staggering 51% of its population living in poverty. Liberians can not afford the basic health and dental care and that is where Cooperative Aid comes in and helps with our free clinics. Providing free care can and has saved lives in Liberia!

The need is great in Liberia and we would love to have you join us! The team will stay in a hotel each night and travel to a different location each day. The team will arrive in country on Friday, April 25, 2025 or Sunday, April 27, 2025 depending on team member preference. Saturday, April 26, 2025 will be a day to relax at the pool at the hotel and enjoy some local sightseeing. Sunday, April 27, 2025 the team will attend a local church in the morning and prep clinic supplies in the afternoon.

Monday, April 28 – Friday, May 2, 2025 will be clinic days. A normal clinic day will consist of breakfast at the hotel around 7:00 am, loading the bus and heading to the clinic around 8:00 am. A typical clinic runs from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm depending on the number of patients. Lunch will be provided at the clinic location. We will return to the hotel and have dinner at the hotel each night or a nearby restaurant.
The team will depart home on Friday night May 2, 2025 or Sunday, May 4, 2025 depending on team member preference.

Lodging, food, in country transportation, travel medical insurance and a small cost share of medicine and supplies for the trip is included in your trip fee. Airfare, travel visa and any vaccinations needed for Liberia are NOT included.

Common Questions About Our Mission Trips

Expectations

What Should I Expect On A Mission Trip?

You can expect to be traveling for 1 or 2 weeks in a group of 8 to 10 people. Each day, we will set up a clinic in a different location to provide care for individuals within the area that are in need of our services.  We work with pastors and local governments to secure safe spaces within churches, government buildings, or various set locations in the villages.

Within these clinics, you will serve a specific role for which you will be trained. No experience is necessary.

Costs

What Is The Cost To Go On A Mission Trip?

There is a set trip fee, plus airfare, which varies depending on the location we serve. Trip fees cover food, lodging, in-country transportation, cost share of supplies, and insurance. Souvenir money is not included.
